Sometimes a build rolls out of our Jasper, Georgia shop with a story that sticks with us — the kind that reminds us exactly why we handcraft vintage custom golf carts in the first place.

This one started over 800 miles away, with a guy in New Jersey who just wanted something *fun* to drive again.

The Search for Something Unique

He told us straight up: he's a sucker for unique vehicles. Not the kind that are just cool to look at—the kind that make you *feel something* when you turn the key.

And he'd proven it. He'd already put deposits down on a Meyers Manx EV, a MOKE, a Vanderhall Brawley… and maybe even a couple others he'd lost track of.

But years kept passing, and those projects never landed in his driveway.

Delays. Price hikes. Broken promises.

Then He Found Us

One day in January, he's scrolling Instagram... and one of our vintage Bronco-style custom golf carts pops up on his feed.

Before he ever picked up the phone, he did what every smart out-of-state buyer should do—he researched the hell out of us.

The builds. The shop. The WhistlePig collaboration. The Google reviews. The address on the map.

Everything.

Then he hit "submit" on our website.

A little while later, he was on the phone with our team, talking through his vision—where he'd drive it, what he needed it to handle, the right lithium battery setup, the must-have options for his family's lifestyle.

After months of anticipation (and more than a few excited check-ins), we got his delivery lined up. A transporter rolled up late on a Saturday night with a dually, a trailer, and one very long-awaited custom cart inside.

And the moment he saw it? Something clicked.

He told us he hasn't met a single person who didn't want to sit in it, take a picture with it, or go for a ride.

He said he needs to keep a stack of our cards on hand because people stop him constantly.
